The Original Broadway Cast of Disney’s The Lion King

Mufasa :: Sarabi :: Young Nala and Simba :: Simba :: Nala:: Rafiki :: Pumba and Timon :: Zazu :: Scar :: The Hyenas (Ed, Shenzi, and Banzai)

This was one of the most amazingly costumed Broadway shows I’ve ever seen.

We know we said we wouldn’t focus on Broadway- but goodness gracious look at these costumes.

First they premiered A Man of No Importance in Los Angeles (at the Hollywood Fringe, no less). Now they want to do a unique take on Luce’s Barrymore. Come see What Good People Theatre Company has in store for the rest of their first season in LA!

Take a peek at our chat with the artistic director, Janet Miller, and the marketing manager, Kimberly Fox. Both women had a lot to say about the company!

When you’re working with a director who has a horrible temper

D’aw! But we love all directors! (and producers, and stage managers, and choreographers…)

Okay, who are we kidding? Theatre people, by default, are a pain in the A**. But here’s the joy of it. We’re passionate. All of us. Next time your director is being such an ever-loving-you-know-what, remember why: they’re passionate, and so are you. Don’t take your passion out on your director. Take your passion out on the stage. BUT NOT THE STAGE FLOOR. Then you’re going to have the technical director yelling at you…because they have to repaint the floor (or, okay, really, their lackey). Again. For the 456th time. This season.

1/8th leads the advertising campaign for The Last Look Backstarring Brent Spiner, Annika Marks, Tracey Leigh, directed by Gates McFadden.

May 14, 1998. A pretty young intern embroiled in a presidential sex scandal “meets cute” with a legendary entertainer on the last day of his life – and so begins a lesson she could learn from no one else. The Last Look Back is a surreal pairing of kindred spirits and a hallucinatory comic ride about mortality, redemption, and the end of the twentieth century.

Come join us for this 2 night only performance October 4th and 5th at 8pm.

Limited Ticket Availability – VIP Tickets include Pre-Show Cocktail Party, Cast Signed Souvenir Program , Post-Show Meet and Greet with Cast, Cast Signed Souvenir Poster, Photo Op w/ “1/8 Bev” & Gates, Gift Bag.
